Firefly

Heather Itzla April 9, 2014
love how you can see the teeny tiny flecks of blue that have chipped off as it has been run over by cars - those bits will be in the creek before too long

That's a silly name for it. They should have made it say "Cockroach", because this little treasure is going to outlive us all - and then some.

The tagline "Kids comply with Firefly!"

Yeah, little kids pretty much have to comply with all of the plastic we push on them. What do they know about the dark side of this colorful, nauseatingly cute, polished up turd of a chemical concoction?

What will we say to them when they figure out this stuff is literally destroying the oceans and the animals that live in it?

P.S. kids really like animals - they are going to be SO bummed to find out we knew this was happening, but we kept plying them with this junk anyway!

*These Firefly Floss Picks will set you back a few pennies each, and they come in every obnoxious color, and every silly shape you can imagine!

They're so special, I've dedicated an entire page to floss picks!

It's called "Did you mean to drop that?"

Because if we're being honest, and we should, because isn't that what we're trying to teach our kids? - Floss Picks should be shaped and colored like these critters, not happy blue dolphins and gaping yellow pelicans.
